How naive of me to believe that Derbyshire Dales DC would want to:

My long standing suggestion to mow round the edges has finally been implemented. Well done Derbyshire Dales DC this will allow the smaller species to come through and should satisfy the people who like to control nature.

Until recently, Ballinlaggan Farm in the Cairngorms was a series of sheep-grazed fields with very little biodiversity. A rewilding project has helped wildflowers to establish, and thousands of native trees have been planted.

We have BEAVERS 🦫

The first signs were willows chewed to stumps and bark stripped from trees. Then, one showed up on our camera traps. Imagine the noises - squeaks and shrieks (not them, us) - as we watched this wonderful species swimming through our tributary.
