The first two photos show young trees in Perdiswell that have been weeded and mulched by our hard working volunteers. The last two photos show trees that were planted recently that are completely overgrown and could easily die without more of you volunteering. We need you to help

Hi TheWEGWorcester was it you who did the lovely job tidying up this green space opposite Lyppard Grange school? Nice work and thanks! Did you know you left two bags of waste behind? Oops!

Yellow rattle, known as the meadow maker because it’s semi-parasitic on grass. Less grass = more wild flowers. We had school children collect thousands of seeds from Aconbury, Worcester last summer and our volunteers sowed them in several places, and WOW 🤩, look at the result.

Great day yesterday with Paul Snookes from TheWEGWorcester looking at green spaces across Worcester. Excellent work done to increase biodiversity & identifying opportunities for further improvement. Fantastic partnership work taking place which we hope to be able to support.

TheWEGWorcester Loved exploring the Wild About Worcestershire Way. A great connection of paths and routes around the City. Some familiar, many not.

It was great to pick up these swift boxes last week! Kindly built by TheWEGWorcester, these will go up in the Arboretum to help the swift population. Big thanks to the ArboretumResidents for making this happen. A true celebration of local groups working together to help wildlife🙌
