Happy 🌱🐝 insect/arthropod biodiversity relies on habitats stuffed full of diverse plants and micro biospheres of life...you can achieve this by literally doing nothing. and celebrate the moths, bumblebees, hoverflies, beetles and many more that live here 🐞

Stunning roadside verge. Native wildflowers looking incredibly beautiful. We don't need to sow 'wildflowers' into our verges!

Here’s what a native meadow looks like in January. The greatest joy is the anticipation of what native plants will pop up across the year and knowing that you don’t need to do anything other than cut in Sept! Irish Semi-natural Grasslands

Did you know that 'weeds' are a haven for pollinating insects? With so much of our food chain being insect pollinated, consider not mowing your lawn this spring.

This is the reason we don’t cut our laws into an inch of their life. We let them grow long, they are full of life and the dandelions get them butterflies refuelled at this early stage in the year.
