A friend has led tour groups to countries in Asia all through the pandemic, always masking when flying. No Covid. At all. Recently returned. First time no mask on plane. 4 days later? Positive.

Why no mask? Listening to BC Public Health, seemed masking wasn’t that effective.

This, this is so execrably reprehensible that it is almost hard to believe, and yet, there it is, for all the world to see.

It is puzzling, no, actually it is reprehensible, that children spending their whole day in classrooms (and it’s not a choice) are seen by the people who are responsible for keeping them safe, as undeserving of what the World Health Organization (WHO) says is needed to ensure safe indoor air.

The statistics, and the context for them, provided in this piece are actually shocking. If more people were aware of how much more prevalent Covid is today, more people would be taking more care.

Can anyone prove that multiple reinfections decrease long COVID risk?
Or at least that they increase risk by *zero*?

Unless you can prove that, you’d better start working hard right now to prevent reinfections in the population.

Students are missing school for the same reasons workers are absent. Letting covid rip through the population was not a good idea. Common illnesses are now hitting people harder.

IPAC Canada Hand hygiene (dark blue) as a strategy was FAR behind those that included PPE. Once again, I ask that the default hand hygiene dogma that is widely promoted by Public Health and IPAC be de-emphasized in combatting largely AIRBORNE viruses. Invest wisely.
