[Children's Amendment Bill 2023 🪀🧸] While we welcome #CAB2023 , further law reforms are still needed to protect the rights of ALL young children – especially children whose families cannot afford to pay for ECD services.

We also hosted a watch party on Facebook live, where our members were able to engage on the political manifestos through an education lens. #YouthPowerBeyondTheBallot

Members, across the five provinces we are organised in, gathered in their respective provinces to discuss whether these manifestos meet our primary concerns regarding basic education and early childhood development.

Today, we launched our manifesto analyses of 11 major political parties titled, “Political manifestos through an education lens”.

We are now beginning the conversation, moderated by Tshego of Equal Education Law Centre (EELC)

As we mark 30 years of democracy, we reflect on the state of education and the political landscape shaping the future of quality education.
