I am very happy to sign this open letter asking for action now - The European Union should stand with pro-Europeans everywhere, yet alone in a candidate country.

I am one of the signatories (in my personal capacity, not on behalf of CER). The EU has to find a way to stand with the pro-European majority in Georgia without rewarding the increasingly authoritarian & Russia-aligned government.

My contribution concludes that the accountability of eu expenditure in terms of legality and effectiveness remains below par.
Moreover the accountability of the rrf is the worst of both worlds: no accountability on input and hardly on output.
