It's day 5 of #Archive30 and we think the rain soaked pavements in this lovely illustration perfectly reflect a #TypicalDay in springtime Glasgow 😆☔️

In 2022 we made a series of videos showing some aspect of a #TypicalDay at Gloucestershire Archives. For #Archive30 today we wanted to re-share these fun videos!

What's a #TypicalDay for us? Answer 22 enquiries, get out 29 archives for customers, add/improve 1999 catalogue entries, take in 2 new archives, supervise preservation volunteers, make packaging for 9 items, conserve 4 maps and digitise around 200 pages.

This World War I correspondence from the GWR Works gives us an insight into a #TypicalDay there in December 1914 – covering requests for permission to leave to sign up, updates on maintenance for the Ambulance trains and incidents of lost identity cards by workers #Archive30
