In October I proposed all public toilets across Ards and North Down become ‘Stoma Friendly’. This work has now been complete, and I would like to thank council officers and staff for rolling this scheme out so quickly.

My 'different ability' is the fact I can shit out of my belly. On its own that isn't a disability.

My disability is the fact that my bowel disease causes pain, nausea, horrific symptoms, my Stoma prolapses, I have frequent bowel obstructions, and the stoma is too unpredictable.
