Their last night with mum Ella before they all go on to the next stage of their journey with their puppy walkers tomorrow. I will visit them all next week and our first training session together will be in 4 weeks time. Thanks for watching. 👍

Introduction of the puppy tunnel didn’t quite go according to plan.

TPD Gus is a one man comedy show.

Caught Ella on camera undoing the door of the puppy pen letting them out on Tuesday.

Flo found a yoghurt pot and would not surrender it under any circumstances. This went on for about 10 minutes and here is a clip.

I thought I would hide around the corner and secretly film them playing in and around their den this evening. Flo (Yellow) clearly had other ideas already showing that nose is always on duty.

There was obviously a little chill in the air this morning. My first job in the morning is to give Ella her run then let the pups out while I clean their Den. Today they waited patiently in a group hug.

Dino may look very cute at the moment but if he turns out anything like his dad seen here training recently then I might need to get Dino a padded suit so that he doesn’t hurt himself.

I’ve opened the patio doors to allow the more adventurous ones a bit more freedom. Plus it gives me an early insight into the little characters. The girls ( The 3 degrees ) were way more adventurous than the boys. Find out in my next blog who they are. You’ve probably guessed

TPD Gerri hasn’t quite got this burying his bone 🍖 task sussed yet.

Yesterday I witnessed first hand Lime green collar making light work of climbing out of the box and she was followed by 2 more of the girls light blue & yellow collars. This is the earliest escape committee we have had

After running around the garden all evening after their supper they usually make their own way back to their Den around dusk. Last night 6 of them fell asleep under a sun lounger at the top of the garden and were in no hurry to come inside.

This was probably the most difficult challenge yet for Ella. Richard took a single leaf and hid it in the woodland. The letter R was written on the leaf to identify the correct leaf. Tracks were put down to stop her tracking to the leaf. She would normally look for an article. 🤪

After 12 eventful stressful hours, 2 veterinary interventions and a puppy born in my dog van as we returned home from the vets Ella has 9 healthy pups ( 5 boys 4 girls). Mother and pups doing well.

Its the anniversary of my #gotcha day. I celebrate my #birthday today, we don’t know my real date of birth. Today I’m 6. I’ve had an amazing time since I was #rescued I love my job as a #policedog & love my forever home. This photo was the 1st ever 1 mum took of me 5 years ago

Ella let’s her 9 puppies out for the last time before Gus, Gunnar, Gatti and Gabby go to their puppy walkers today.

Ace, in freezing conditions, tracked too and located a 90yrs old Dementia patient last night. Found him completely disoriented in the corner of a field. Seeing the relief on the family’s faces makes it all worth while. Good boy Ace DC_Police Dogs ( Puppy Development Program)
