Last preparatory meeting for the national commemoration of the #WorldHepatitisDay scheduled tomorrow 28/8/2023 at Kazo Model P/S Playground.
The meeting was attended by district political leaders led by RDC, the district technical team led by CAO & a secton of Officials from MoH
To mark #WorldHepatitisDay , we were delighted to donate 42 lilac trees to hospitals, prisons, treatment providers and other supportive organisations across the country.
Here are some of the trees that were planted in memory of those weβve lost to hepatitis C. π
Dr Diana Atwine, the Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary has urged the residents of Kazo to get tested & vaccinated against Hepatitis B which she said is highly infectious, much more than HIV.
Dr. Atwine made the remarks during the National Commemoration of #WorldHepatitisDay
