Heading north on the NC500. Whaligoe steps down to the ancient harbour 250ft below. A nice wander down but a bit of a hike back up!

moosh Ah cool, my local town! But if fish was landed at Whaligoe steps crews of women, some in their early seventies, would gut the fish and carry them up the 330 steps in baskets to be taken on foot to be sold in Wick, some 7 to 8 miles away! Oof
