We had a fantastic session with Rockwood school - we enjoyed a wildlife and river features walk along the Upper Anton, then dipped one of the lakes at Rooksbury Mill Nature Reserve. We even found a dragonfly exuvia! The National Lottery Heritage Fund Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust

We’ve been river dipping on the Upper Test with children at the Simply Out of School Holiday Club. We took a closer look at our catch using a digital microscope then sculpted our favourite creatures from clay. The National Lottery Heritage Fund Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust

When you set a group off on a river sketch activity and return to discover they’ve coloured their drawings using natural pigments – flowers for yellow, grass for green and earth for brown. Brilliant!
