During my time in Melbourne, I connected with remarkable community leaders who are deeply committed to #SouthSudan & are dedicated to improving our current situation. Although they are part of the diaspora, they tirelessly work around the clock to make positive changes back home.
Some 500 people, including school children, cultural groups, local authorities and members of the wider UN family, joined the #UNMISS peacekeepers in Bor, #SouthSudan , as they commemorated #PKDay in style.

Remote villages near Mvolo & Aweil in #SouthSudan now have clean water thanks to MAF Uganda & Every Village . Boreholes & wells were fixed & a co-op has been set up so that vital equipment will last for years. People dance for joy as they drink from their fresh water source.
