LBC and the Israeli govt - given this unremarkable exchange on her last show - come out of the decision to take #SangitaMyska off air very badly. Sangita herself comes out of it very well: seldom if ever known such an outpouring of affection.
On James O’Brien today he claims Sangita Myska was sacked by LBC because of her listening figures and not for her questioning of an Israeli official. Now am sure I read she won an award last year due to her listener figures so that doesn’t make sense 🤷♂️
Has Rachel Riley MBE 💙 apologised for this agrecious lie where she proclaimed, FALSELY, that an Israeli pregnant woman was cut open & her baby beheaded?

In announcing the name of her replacement (Vanessa Feltz) LBC have pretty much confirmed that Sangita Myska was silenced for questioning the conduct of Israel’s war.

When LBC audio dump you for mentioning Sangita Myska. I have so much love and respect for LBC and the work they do, but this is really sad. I sincerely hope we have gotten this wrong, and there is a reasonable answer to #WhereisSangitaMyska .

Sangita Myska has a huge base of admirers - and @lbc (@AshleyTaborKing) have clearly massively misjudged their ability to oust her quietly.
