Sam McDonald was a beloved storyteller and musician at the Stanford Home for Convalescent Children. When he died, Sam left his home in the redwoods to Con Home, who sold it to #SMCParks . In keeping with Sam's wishes, there are 3 youth campgrounds in the park. #ThrowbackThursday
