57 Marine Drive, Rhos-on-sea, appears to have been built for Mrs Royle of Cheshire by local builder William Evans in c.1937. Known as Elyor House, the property was built in a striking Moderne style popular in the seaside resorts of north Wales. #ModernistMonday

Coastguard Station, Tutt Head, Mumbles. Built in 1982, the station closed for active service in 2015, though used as offices since. Plans are now in discussion for (hopefully sympathetic) reuse of this amazing structure. #ModernistMonday #MaritimeMonday
