Participated in lively constructive discussion on #safetyofjournalists & #mediafreedom in 🇦🇱. Encouraged all stakeholders to continue institutional dialogue with civil society to jointly identify solutions &implement reforms that strengthen media freedom & journalists safety.

Tonight, our president joins a panel hosted by African Institute for Investigative Journalism to discuss #MediaFreedom and Political Accountability. The focus will be on strengthening advocacy for journalists protecting the truth, and promoting human rights and freedoms in Uganda.
