Today - a little pilgrimage to Dylan Thomas's grave in Laugharne (and Caitlin). There were fresh roses, cockleshells and a miniature bottle of whisky (very small! Not sure what Dylan would have thought). #dylanthomas #laugharne

The brother of Stuart: Lieutenant John Ritso Nelson Bolton.

Served with the RFA and lost his life on 25th Sep 1915.

Both remembered on the #Laugharne War Memorial, Carmarthenshire.

Midshipman Stuart Bladen Nelson Bolton was born in 1897 in #Laugharne , Carmarthenshire.

He served on the HMS Indefatigable and lost his life aged 18 when it was sunk on 31st May 1916.

Their family had to come to terms that his brother had already been killed in Loos Sep 1915.

El castillo de Laugharne en #Gales fue erigido en 1116 pero debido a la inestabilidad de la zona fue mejorado por los normandos y los Tudor.

Destruido en 1257, en 1403 repelió un asedio. En 1644 fue sitiado e inutilizado con fuego de cañones, convirtiéndose en ruina romántica.
