Yesterday's #HumanRightsDay rally in Sigidi village faced a major roadblock when our comrades from Amadiba were allegedly denied entry by an ANC councillor. Following a meeting with SA Police Service 🇿🇦 members, the impediment was resolved, & the rally proceeded as intended.
This evening in EP Strasbourg Roberta Metsola made a call for respect for freedom & human dignity. I thought it appropriate to ask when he would speak for these principles regarding #Catalonia
His refusal to respond was disappointing but not surprising
