Don’t ever let anyone tell you that this Tory government isn’t breaking records left, right, and farther right…

3.1 million food parcels handed out, topping the previous appalling figure

promised cheaper food but ensured Britain faces a serious food crisis as all the worst thing (we warned about) happened since we left the EU.

Govt incentivised environment over food production, whilst also tearing up our trading arrangements.

Hard to recall any govt…

🧵Shocking reality of the Brexit inland border checks at Sevington, 22 miles from Dover.

The experience and facilities seem designed to be as intimidating, dehumanising and unpleasant as possible.

“Scotland could vote NO in order to stay in the EU and then England votes LEAVE and Scotland is forced to leave the EU.” And that is what happened, all down to the Tory fear of Nigel Farage and the BBC support for him and UKIP.

SINCE BREXIT THE POUND HAS LOST 20% OF ITS VALUE.
If we rejoined the Single Market and the Customs Union it would signal a return to sanity and markets would react accordingly. A rise in the value of the pound would make practically all goods cheaper. The cost importing goods…

There are clearly links between those who conned us into Brexit, and Putin who sees all the EU has to offer as a massive threat.
Yet we just rolled over & let them take it from us.
We can learn much from the spirit of Georgians…🇪🇺

Rachel Reeves, 'The Conservatives are gaslighting the British public'

She's 💯 right in so many ways, they absolutely are.

Sadly, Labour's silence over the impact of Brexit on the UK is also shameful gaslighting too.

Just visited another local supermarket here in France to pick up some stuff for lunch. I cannot emphasise enough the variety, quantity and most importantly..quality.. of produce available. It makes me very angry about the crap my local UK post Brexit supermarket has to offer.

At the risk of annoying (almost)everyone it’s worth pointing out that the party which has done most to destroy the unity of the UK is the Conservative Party. They ignored Scottish and N Ireland voters on Brexit and for years the Tories have been “red wall” English nationalists.

At Mondays press conference Rishi Sunak told the public “You can trust me”

He then deliberately omitted Brexit from his list of things battering the UK economy - it was rank dishonesty & every journalist present allowed him to get away with it
