Our Nature & Wellbeing team enjoyed hosting a Nature to Nurture Day at the Hive in Moss Bank Park last month.

We had a fantastic time doing lots of nature based activities such as a lovely walk across the moors, where we spotted 22 different species!

Many things that affect our health can't be treated by doctors alone.

Today is #SocialPrescribingDay , and we're celebrating the relationships we have with social prescribing link workers across our service and the benefit that green social prescribing has in our communities.

Our Bury Nature & Wellbeing group had a very productive day installing a new mini wildlife pond and making bird nesters.

We enjoyed creating a brand new habitat for wildlife and we are excited to see what makes a home here over the next few months! 🏡

Our Pennine Care Nature & Wellbeing groups enjoyed trips to the RHS Bridgewater over the last week!🌿🌸

The fantastic RHS staff and volunteers gave us a tour of the site and provided green activities. It was a great way to get know a fabulous greenspace right on our doorstep!

We still have some places available on these Bike Maintenance and Learn To Ride courses at our Witton Greenhouses next week. Or fancy joining us for a guided ride? Free places, just need to be over 18.

We were really honoured a few months ago to receive a donation of £2,700 from Horwich Floral Art Club!
Tom who went to receive the award said 'with a donation from the club we can continue our Chorley allotment sessions as well as pay for a shelter. Thank you!'

Our Bury Nature & Wellbeing group had a wonderful trip to Lytham St Anne’s today to help with Christmas tree planting.

Despite the windy weather, we had a fantastic time getting to make a big difference to the coastline and help protect coastal wildlife and communities!

Thanks to Forestry England for inviting our Bury Nature & Wellbeing group to help with coppicing Hazel at Waterdale Meadow! 🌿🌳

Our group had a fantastic time learning new skills and getting hands on experience!
