Surprising they don't know that homeopathy is quackery. But placebo effect works 30% of the time, so perhaps that misleads people into thinking the products work.

Unfortunately, that's not accurate. Homeopathy is based on the (scientifically unproven) theory that the more an active ingredient is diluted, the stronger it becomes.
