Dense fog dropped a nice selection of birds, started the day off with two Sedge Warblers clinging to the side of the cliff!

Other highlights included the first Redstart of the year. Wood Warbler, two Pied & Spotted Flycatchers, Tree Pipit & a pale Willow Warbler #BardseyBirds

With the amount of erosion to the dunes this winter, we’ve moved the fence line as close to the dunes as possible, but will still potentially be problematic at high tide, so please avoid passing the colony on the beach at high tides where possible to avoid disturbing the birds

We've had another terrific season of the School Bird Boat Project. Each year we take out up to 1200 kids from the local area on boat trips around Poole Harbour at no cost to the children!
