It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Mary Banotti.
Mary was a talented politician, a trailblazer and a joy to be around. She was smart, wise and funny. She had impact, vision and determination.

Ireland today stood with 142 other nations in voting for full admission of Palestine to the UN. We will shortly recognise the state of Palestine. We again call for a ceasefire in Gaza, aid to flow & all hostages to be released.
