You know when it is spring, when you look up to see a Hobby hunting over the reed beds RSPB Minsmere 🌍 There has been ten Hobby's in front of bittern hide these past few days. They are feeding on insects as they erupt from the reed beds. Soon Dragonflies will be their next meal😊

With the warm weather, out came the butterflies, like this stunning Green hairstreak which was feeding on a small shrub with beautiful flowers on the dunes RSPB Minsmere 🌍 this morning. The sun lit up the metalic green wings like a neon light at night and shows how vibrant they are

I went this morning to see the Red backed shrike RSPB Minsmere 🌍 It was on the left in the reserve of the north wall. I went to the beach, walked along the shore line, came up to a tidal cut in the dunes. There I sat out of sight, my patience paid off, it came onto the beach side.
