If someone mentions Sudan as an example of Gaza hypocrisy or ‘crowding out of attention’ then simply look to see if they have ever mentioned it before or even suggested they knew where it was on the map. Just shameless stuff.

I spent some time at Columbia before it was cleared, as well as other campuses in the US, and the encampments spaces and protests were not only calm, but caring, polite and entirely focused on Gaza. The only solipsism and diversion comes from their critics theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Important to remember at this juncture that the encampment that triggered this confrontation was small, yesterday maybe 50 students tops from what I could see and it was not getting bigger because it was sealed to new entrants. A wildly disproportionate escalation.
