The Albanese Government is strengthening Medicare and delivering cheaper medicines by:

✔️Delivering 29 more Urgent Care Clinics
✔️A freeze on the cost of a PBS prescription for concession card holders for up to five years
✔️Expanding the range of free mental health services

In the lead up to Budget, we've announced:

✔️More endo support
✔️29 more Medicare Urgent Care Clinics
✔️New medicines added to the PBS
✔️$1.89B invested in health and medical research
✔️Prac payments for nursing, social work and teaching students
✔️New Darwin medical school

ANNOUNCED: Lifechanging medicines have been added to the PBS, helping 200 women with endometrial cancer and 2,800 people with itching associated with chronic kidney disease.

The Albanese Government is investing $227 million to open 29 additional Medicare Urgent Care Clinics across the country. Making it easier to see a doctor and reaffirming our promise to strengthen Medicare.

JUST ANNOUNCED: For the first time, Australian women suffering endometriosis and complex gynaecological conditions will have access to longer specialist consultations, covered under Medicare.
