1/ Earlier this year, while reporting on Shrub Oak School, Jennifer Smith Richards and I went to NJ to meet Ellen & Russ Ashinoff, whose son had been a student there.

They pulled Brett from the boarding school for students w/autism after they said they saw signs he'd been mistreated.
