Great morning Rewilding with our volunteers in the park today. Weeding and mulching the New River Hedge. Logging shrub beds and having fun. Thanks to our park ranger and to Edible_Landscapes_London for working with us. Community groups working together to get the job done.

Continue to be amazed by London wildlife. Stumbled across a Goldcrest nest in Finsbury Park and Iโ€™m absolutely obsessed. Such lovely little birds and deserving of their scientific name R.regulus ๐Ÿ‘‘

Great news there is also a woodpecker in the area behind Rowans. There is exciting bird life in Finsbury Park if you look out for it! Friends of Finsbury Park

This was the moment back in December - captured by Guy Osborn - when my Urban Studies Journal paper on festival fences became a physical exhibition Regent Street Cinema. Would love to install this somewhere else, if anyone has any suggestions. HERA

It's not just children who want more nature time! In our Parks for London research, 16-25yo (who visit nature <others) said time in nature should be part of their curricula. And childhood experiences w/ influence their current nature habits. theguardian.com/environment/20โ€ฆ

Having access to green spaces is so important. Especially for children. We must protect our public parks, work to improve their facilities and ecology and keep them safe and open to local communities.
