Curlew Recovery South Lakes Here in India today, I saw 6-7 crows restlessly attacking the incubating Black-winged Stilts to steal their eggs.
Curlew Recovery South Lakes a North Pennines field worker found a Curlew nest moments after seeing a Fox in close proximity.
Their team have fenced it but that doesn’t stop the C.Crow.
Curlew Recovery South Lakes Crows are so clever. I hope the curlews and their eggs are ok. That is why a critical mass of curlews is important to dilute the intensity of the attack.
