The Charlottetown Parks and Recreation Department would like to inform user groups that all City-owned ball fields are closed Thursday, May 9 due to the poor playing conditions.

The City apologizes for any inconveniences and thanks the public for their cooperation.

Temporary Traffic Advisory:

Due to traffic light maintenance, the Prince Street and Grafton Street intersection will have four-way stop signs set up on Friday, May 10 in place of the traffic lights.

Grafton Street between Cumberland Street and Weymouth Street will be closed April 23, 8am-5pm to repair a water valve; unforeseen circumstances may result in delays. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes and sidewalks are not anticipated to be affected.

We were sad to learn about Sybil Cutcliffe, who passed away peacefully this week at 90.

In memory of Sybil’s service to the City, the flag outside City Hall will be lowered to half mast until Sunday, April 21.

We extend our condolences to Sybil’s family during this time.
