So happy to get another LIFER tick this weekend from my local RSPB Ouse Fen reserve with this beast of a Great Reed Warbler. What a voice. All round great day birding with bonus Cuckoo, Turtle Dove and Grey Plover. Cambs Bird Club

Great Reed Warbler on Friday singing his bits off to attract a Mrs GRW... A great burst of loud acro song - lots of fun. Pleasure to meet Rachel Lennard on her 8th visit to the bird that day... Lee Evans (LGRE) - the official account RareBirdAlertUK Cambs Bird Club

Two great evenings in Cambs! Last night, the American Golden Plover showed well, along with a Garganey. Then, this evening a Great Reed Warbler singing and tail spreading! Amazing two birds in great company. Rachel Lennard Richard Bradbury Simon Freedman and more!

I had two helpings of the Ouse Fen Great Reed Warbler today, morning and afternoon, as it was so local! 😁 Lovely to hear it sing away and it showed frequently. A smashing find by Hannah Bernie! Cambs Bird Club

Great Reed Warbler early morning at Ouse Fen, found last night by Hannah (warden there). Car park open 7am-8pm. North end looking good with Bitterns booming and flying, several Bearded Tits, Cuckoos and lots of dragonflies and damselflies out Cambs Bird Club

High Arctic waders in their summer finest plumage at Fen Drayton this evening. I wonder how far north they'll be in a couple of weeks Graham Appleton? Well done for braving the rain earlier Ed King Cambs Bird Club

Nice morning visit up to Coveney, Byall Fen for the 1st Sum American Golden Plover - a very unusual plumage looking almost Sandplover like. Showed well but bit distant ⁦Cambs Bird Club

On Sunday, I added a couple of species to my Peterborough area year list: Little Tern (with a couple of birds south through Cowbit Wash, Lincs) and Spotted Flycatcher at Southey Wood (Cambs), perhaps the last regular breeding site locally Cambs Bird Club Lincsbirding
