Graduate is correctly used in the active voice: She graduated from the university.
It is correct, but unnecessary, to use the passive voice: He was graduated from the university.
Do not, however, drop from: John Adams graduated from Harvard. Not: John Adams graduated Harvard.

A little work update: Yesterday was my last day at Front Office Sports. Thank you to all the lovely people I worked with; I’m very proud of what we did together. … Now? I’m gonna take a breath and be a dad for a bit.

Since August I've worked for a sports media outlet in Oklahoma City known as Sellout Crowd. ICYMI: That's over.
I am grateful to every SC colleague who gave it their all. This list is long. It was an honor to work for and with you. (1/4)

We’ve lost a giant. John knew everyone who was anyone in Region sports over the last 60 years, if not longer. Few writers loved a pun more. I was his boss for a while and we’d have lunch periodically. Loved hearing his stories … 1/

NWI sportswriting legend John Mutka passed away on Monday. I considered John a mentor when I was a young journalist learning the business ... fond memories of sitting across from him in the PostTrib newsroom 😪 Jim Peters Al Hamnik Mark Lazerus MikeHutton Michael Osipoff

Really sad to hear that John Mutka, a staple of the Northwest Indiana sports scene for more than half a century, has died. A local icon who poured his heart and soul and damn near his whole life into covering region sports.

RIP to Region sports legend John Mutka. Words can’t convey the impact that John’s example meant to me coming up in NWI. We shared a lot of afternoons together at Brown Field and plenty of other venues. He was a giant in our industry and he was sharing news until his last breath.

This has left me feeling lots of things, but as much as anything, I’m feeling grateful.

I’m grateful to anyone who read or listened, subscribed or responded to something on Sellout Crowd. If you did that over the past few months at Sellout Crowd, I appreciate you so much. (1/?)

Sorry to say, Sellout Crowd is finished. We had a blast, but a faulty financial structure from the start meant we had no chance at success. Jenni Carlson, Mike Sherman, Michael Lane, Jacquelyn Musgrove, Jay Spear, Bobby Howard and Kris Murray gave it their best shot.
