7th Jathedar Of Akal Takht Amar Shaheed Baba Hanuman Singh Ji . First one who fought against British .He attained Martyrdom at the age of 90 while fighting British and state of Patiala in 1845.

Following this tradition, about 150 Singhs lead by Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale took their last stand against the oppressive Indian regime at the Akaal Takht in June 1984 and attained martyrdom.
