The Silvereye birds are loving the insects on the pigface today dozens of birds almost perfectly camouflaged having an autumnal feast I got a clip of one as they see me so fast and flit away

Found this Silvereye in our daughter’s garden in Chiltern, Vic. It struck me as unusual and after a bit of research & speaking to locals it’s actually the Tasmanian sub-species (zosterops lateralis lateralis). 1st record for the area
