Prince William visits St. Mary's Harbour, the maritime gateway to the Isles of Scilly

Prince William is in the Isle of Scilly today and he couldn’t resist going to a pasty shop and trying the local cuisine for himself!

He ordered five traditional ones but said “they’re not all for me!”

Prince William could not resist stopping to buy a tradtional Cornish pasty this morning as he arrived on the Isles of Scilly for his first official visit since inheriting the Duchy of Cornwall. He arrived on St Mary’s by boat, having travelled from Tresco.

William also revealed he had enjoyed a dip in the sea this morning and told tourists lined up to greet him: ‘My family are very upset I’m here without them. The children will kill me if I don’t go home later.’
The Wales family have holidayed privately in Scilly previously.
