This translation and my son are the same age (3! time flies). He carries the Korean and English copy I have at home around saying 'This translation is my favorite book!' He can pronounce 'translation' but can't yet make it to the end of the story 🤣

'Proposal' was published in 2014. It was one of the last poems Jin Eun-young published before taking a long hiatus due to illness until she returned with a new book of poems in 2020. But during that time, the poem circulated online and her readers kept her words alive.
