We're deeply disturbed by #HongKong 's detention & deportation of a Reporters Without Borders rep attempting to monitor the #JimmyLai trial. Harassing peaceful #pressfreedom observers is not a good sign.

I keep hearing how Cdn natural gas & LNG have lower carbon emissions compared to competitors. Has anyone seen any credible work that makes the comparison on a life cycle basis? (Recognizing methane emissions are a largely uncounted wild card.)

So we're having gatekeepers on the Internet and gatekeepers at the toilet stalls. The former would be unmanageable and bureaucratic; the latter is just ridiculous.

Alberta submissions opposing Ottawa's oil/gas emissions cap are pouring in.

So, I went through Env Canada's 1990 to 2021 data for Alberta.

It's depressing.

Industry has done very little to reduce GHGs. Even it's vaunted progress on methane is suspect.

I support the cap.
