What I love about how different FURIOSA was to FURY ROAD is that each MAD MAX film is so different than the last. The first MAD MAX film could not be more divorced from FURY ROAD. It’s what makes this series so special. I love how George Miller didn’t even try to repeat himself.
I know people have complained about the digital aesthetic of FURIOSA, but I absolutely loved how dynamic and vibrant the cinematography and color grading was. It works on a different level than FURY ROAD but to me I wish all blockbusters looked this good.
