Since 2021, Scotiabank’s Net Zero Research Fund has granted $3 million to projects aiming to mitigate the effects of climate change, such as using seaweed to boost carbon storage and efforts to slow coral reef loss in Mexico. The fund is now accepting the next set of proposals:
