I've change the way seed hangs in the feeder cage and at the moment the Corvids can't reach it. They're not happy.

good place for insects but it's still a bit early in the year.

Oystercatcher chick on a hot barn roof.
Went out to photograph Insects and saw the Oystercatchers with their chick on the barn roof, at least 3m up.
The parents were looking over the side so I guess some had jumped.
I didn't go too close and I only had my 100-400mm lens.

⁦DPD Services⁩ this is a complete fabrication. The driver did not ‘try to find my address’ his van broke down.
Honesty would be good and you have completely ruined my plans for the weekend and cost me money.
You should have one ‘back up’ van so parcels can be delivered.

Red-legged Partridge on a stump thet forms the wood pile. There were two of them but one seems to have wandered off, hope the fox didn't get him.

Well, today's weather hasn't delivered.
We had the red sky last night, and I thought I'd get the washing out to dry and get some insects on the garden flowers.
I have a line of still wet towels and found a single bee on honeysuckle.
Too cold to hang about.

We have rain- a little bit is welcome, everything is dry and drooping.

I was watching the birds collecting food.
When the chicks are tiny the adults are fussy what they take.
Now as the chicks get bigger and more demanding it's grab the first available food, cram in as much as will fit in the beak, and go.

How contrary I am.
Thought I had to go to Whitehaven to see a foot/ankle specialist physio.
I moaned about the 100+ mile trip.
Then got the appt in Carlisle and I’m feeling cheated out of a trip to Whitehaven.

Two men Daniel Graham and Adam Carruthers are due in court today for felling the ICONIC Sycamore Gap tree this was a senseless crime and I hope they receive jail time if found guilty the tree deserves justice like and retweet if you agree #SycamoreGap
