I welcome the news that the EHRC has retained its A status accreditation as an NHRI. The right decision. #HumanRights are universal. There is no hierarchy of rights and there is no hierarchy in the protected characteristics under the Equality Act.

The gender identity ideology which you espouse denies the rights of women to dignity, safety & privacy & the right of LGB people to be same-sex attracted. That’s not equality. And, unlike Kate Forbes, you want to force your beliefs on all of us by law.

On #BBCLauraK Rwandan Govt Spokesperson unable to say how many asylum seekers they can take from UK. When I visited with UK Parliament Human Rights Committee in February I was told by Govt officials they expected to receive 2,000 this year & 10,000 over the next 5 years.

Am listening with rapt attention to audiobook of Sister In Law by Harriet Wistrich . I sort of knew the cases but in her factual, modest style she is blowing me away. She ran some of the most important civ. liberties cases in last 30 yrs. Amazing Why is she not in the House of Lords?
