Great to meet PM Giorgia Meloni in Rome. We discussed #Italy ’s many contributions to #NATO , and our preparations for the NATO Summit in July. When leaders meet in Washington, we will take further decisions to support Ukraine, strengthen our defences, and work more with partners.

Important to visit Kyiv again and meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський. The situation is difficult, but it is not too late for #Ukraine to prevail – and more support is on the way. #NATO is also stepping up for the long haul, putting Ukraine on an irreversible path to the Alliance.

Good to meet Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz Olaf Scholz. #Germany makes major contributions to Allied security & is the biggest European contributor of military aid to #Ukraine . The fact that Germany now invests 2% GDP in defence matters for us all.

Today I visited #Germany & flew with Team Luftwaffe in a #eurofighter jet, witnessing firsthand how the German air force helps to protect #NATO airspace, incl. over the Baltic Sea. We also met the Swedish #jasgripen for air-to-air refuelling. #WeAreNATO

Thanks to PM Donald Tusk for hosting us today for key discussions on deterrence & defence and support to Ukraine. #Poland makes #NATO stronger.

I also welcome PM Rishi Sunak’s major announcement on defence spending & #Ukraine support. Once again, the #UK is leading by example.

I welcome that the U.S. House of Representatives has approved a major new package of aid to #Ukraine . Ukraine is using the weapons provided by #NATO Allies to destroy Russian combat capabilities. This makes us all safer, in Europe & North America.

Defence Ministers met virtually in the #NATO – #Ukraine Council with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський to address Kyiv’s critical need for more air defences. Allies agreed to step up & provide further military support, including air defence. I expect new announcements soon.

Good meeting with #G7 foreign ministers & Dmytro Kuleba on support for #Ukraine . More defences & more ammunition are on the way. Also discussed tackling support for #Russia ’s war effort from China, DPRK & Iran. #NATO stands with Ukraine.

Spoke with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський on #Ukraine 's urgent needs & #NATO support. Delays in aid have consequences on the ground every day. So my message to Allies is clear: Send more to Ukraine. We also agreed to convene the NATO-Ukraine Council this Friday.

#Ukraine ’s battlefield needs are urgent. I thanked Mark Rutte 🇳🇱, Statsministeriet 🇩🇰 & Petr Fiala 🇨🇿 for their efforts. We agreed #NATO should have a greater role in coordinating aid over the longer term. Ukraine also needs predictable financial support for the long haul.

Good call with Klaus Iohannis on support for #Ukraine . I encourage all Allies to dig deep to provide more ammunition & air defences. #Romania is pivotal to defending #NATO ’s Eastern flank and committed to supporting Ukraine.

Good meeting with Chairman of the Presidency Becirovic of our partner Bosnia-Herzegovina to increase cooperation. #NATO strongly supports your sovereignty & territorial integrity. All political leaders must work together to preserve unity & safeguard national institutions.
