Today, I join the Jewish community in York Region and throughout Canada to observe Yom HaShoah, also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day. I solemnly remember the approximately six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust and commemorate the survivors and their families.

Today, we hosted our yearly police memorial service in to honour our fallen members. They made the ultimate sacrifice, driven by a calling to keep others safe at all costs.

For that, we can never repay them. The very least we can do is remember them. Ontario Police Memorial Foundation
