The NATO Swift Response exercise has started in Sweden. About 800 paratroopers from the United States, Spain, Hungary, and Italy are participating in the exercise. VOA's Myroslava Gongadze has more on this story.

First Army would have over 500,000 American Soldiers assigned to it on #DDay . The responsibility for the individual American landings fell on First Army to plan and carry out. It was the Soldiers who landed on the beaches that ultimately carried out those orders.
