It's virtually impossible to believe that anybody studying a climate-related subject is stupid enough to write a post like this.
Chris Martz thinks the greenhouse effect is to do with toxicity 😀.
This is having extreme and prolonged effects, with devastating consequences for millions of people.
Meanwhile climate crisis deniers like Tony Heller insist it's not unusual.

This is truly pathetic from Jim Steele.
3 charts side by side.
The left one covers the last 1000 years, the other two 2000 years. He hides this by cutting off the horizontal scale on the left one.
Each covers different geographical ranges.
A heap of shameful dishonesty.
Let's see if anybody can come up with an approach to explaining CO2 to Dr. Matthew M. Wielicki that might work.
He's clearly struggling with some of the basics, including this one.
How do we explain to him that whether CO2 levels changed before humans doesn't affect humans now?
Way beyond Chris Martz, but I'll try anyway.
Answer 1.
Let's say hottest temps on Earth are 120C and coldest are -80C. Average 20C.
Now say hottest are 30C and coldest are 10C. average 20C.
Target globally-averaged temperature is a rather stupid target to aim for 😉
3 basic points:
1. Man's post 2nd Industrial Revolution (IR2) activities are causing warming. Why look for correlation earlier ? tobyarnott.com/CO2Temperature…
2. IR2 impact: royalsociety.org/news-resources…
3. Post IR2 CO2 is leading temp svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/11362/ whatever happened before then.
Here's a convenient place to check any of the claims made in 'Climate - the Movie'.
I was rather disappointed that it was so fact-free, but then deniers don't really have facts, do they?

I've been trying to get Tony Heller to tell me where he gets 50% from.
No reply 😉.
Can anybody tell me where 50% comes from?
NOAA researchers returned to 5 reefs in the Florida Keys where they'd planted staghorn & elkhorn coral - both classified 'threatened' - to see how they'd survived prolonged water temps in the 90s (30s C).
Most of them hadn’t.

Where does Tony Heller get afternoon temperatures from?
I've asked him several times, but I get no answer.
Does anybody know of a source (US at least, preferably globally) that provides afternoon temperatures.
I hope he's not telling 'porkies' 😉
According to the IUCN species extinctions continue to increase. More details here tobyarnott.com/SpeciesExtinct…… #ClimateCrisis #biodiversity #nature
The 2023 data are not surprising given the historical rise in both atmospheric CO2 and global temperature.
The 1959-2023 figures for atmospheric CO2 and temperature show increased correlation compared to 1959-2022.
It's now over 96%.

It's noticeable that an increasing number of people are realising that Patrick Moore is now tweeting stuff that is so untrue/misleading/irrelevant that he is in danger of losing whatever remnants of his reputation remain.
It's rather sad really.
