It’s “thank a resident day!” These VUMC Neurosurgery residents deserve more than a day of thanks, but it was really nice to host them for a brief break from work. They are the backbone of our department and our patient care. I’m proud to be a part of their training.

Great application of conditional survival—a more clinically relevant metric for prognosis that’s easily understood by patients and families. Need more of this in clinical research!
