On Tuesday 23rd April, I'll be tackling four of Scotland's highest peaks (3 SOTA) with RSGB director Ben GW4BML. I'll be running 2m FM only and Ben will be on HF. Listen out for us. 2m should be LOS to many places!

The time has come to start adding better Worked All Britain award support into Cloudlog which will soon show a map of all the squares and colour them based on data filled into the SIG fields in Cloudlog

Epic! #SOTA on Mt. Keen with fresh snow. Hard going through 15 miles of it though. A surprising 8 contacts on 2m inc. My Friend The Rt Hon Hibby, then a pile up on 40m, inc. Ray and a heap of summit to summits on 20m (Swiss, France & Italy). I lasted an hour before the cold got to me.

Aiguille du Midi F/AB-015 3842m, 14,600'. Don't think I'll ever beat this. I'm high as a kite. Not sure if it is the altitude or the genuine excitement and stunning vistas. Glad I practiced the vertical mast lash up earlier! #SOTA #hamr
