We are cooking today for flood victims in and distributing blankets and clothes to those affected by the floods in Soweto. Last night was really bad.

These rains are such a traumatic experience and those who have been victims of flooding require psychosocial support as well. Kenya Red Cross is there a psychosocial support team available where we can volunteer?

What we are seeing in this season are the adverse effects of impunity, unless it’s rooted out by you and I from even our foundational relationships, we are going absolutely nowhere.
We can’t condemn our institutions for their bad manners yet it’s the norm in our homes.

These floods are a ticking bomb for an outbreak of waterborne diseases, just wondering how this will be mitigated…
