A few days ago, northwest of , a Bald Eagle has a lovely lake view as it considers its next meal perhaps. And check out those talons! A bit late in the year for these majestic to still be here, so likely headed north soon.

Awesome to see this Ruby-throated Hummingbird displaying and then taking a nice long rest after a job well done. Gorgeous bird!

Plenty of Gas and Diesel being burnt in SA last 24 hours, not a lot of wind. So much for all those turbines and the claim or 100% renewable power. They forgot to add 'sometimes'

Is something wearing out at the Dundonnell wind farm. At 8pm tonight, as you can see it was hardly generating anything, but we could hear the slow rumble like a clothes dryer, yet we are 16km from the closest turbine. We regularly hear it in the distance, tonight was worse FSR?

This wedge tailed eagle often sits here. Photo taken 500m away so he doesnt get disturbed. The spot is nearly 1km from its nest, no sheep around, just wetland birds, so he is either hunting for birds or enjoying the view.
